Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask Enstap to delete personal data it holds about you, including personal data it has received through a connected Facebook Page or Instagram account.

Email deletion request↗

This opens a new message in your email application with the subject filled in. You still have to send it yourself. If you have no email application set up, write to support@enstap.com from wherever you read your mail.

Enstap’s Facebook and Instagram connections are in development and testing, so most accounts have no such connection yet. These instructions apply whenever Enstap holds your personal data, whichever source it came from.

How to request deletion

  • Email support@enstap.com with the subject “Enstap data deletion request”.
  • If you have an Enstap account, write from the address it is registered to where you can. That is the quickest way for us to match the request to the right workspace.
  • Where they apply, give the workspace or business name, and the connected Page or Instagram username.
  • Say briefly which data, or which connection, the request concerns.
  • You do not need an Enstap login. If Enstap holds personal data about you, write to support whether or not you are a customer.
  • Do not include passwords, access tokens, payment details or identity documents in your first email.

What happens next

  • We review each request, and may need proportionate verification of who you are, or of your authority to act for a business or a connected account.
  • Support is by email. We respond within five working days.
  • We confirm what the request covers before acting on it, and confirm the outcome afterwards, including anything that has to be kept and why.
  • Requests are handled by a person. Enstap does not offer automatic deletion and does not publish a guaranteed completion time.

What deletion covers

People mean different things by “delete my data”. Say which of these you want, and we will confirm the scope before acting.

Disconnecting a connected account

Disconnecting a source, including a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, ends Enstap’s access to it immediately. On its own it does not delete anything Enstap has already stored, so deletion stays a separate request.

Deleting the data held for a connected account

The reviews and supported interactions Enstap has received for that connection, the drafts and replies it produced, the record of what was approved and published and when, and the authorisation that let Enstap reach the source.

Deleting personal data about you

Correspondence you have sent to support@enstap.com or sales@enstap.com, and personal data inside the interactions, drafts and replies Enstap holds for a connection.

Closing your Enstap account

Closing an account ends the subscription and access to the workspace. That is not the same as deleting what is in it, so say if you want the data deleted as well.

These instructions are a human-readable route for people and businesses. They are not a programmatic deletion callback endpoint for any platform.

Deleting data from Enstap does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account, your Page, or any post, review or reply held on those platforms. Replies already published to a platform remain there; ask that platform to remove anything held by it.

Some billing, security and audit records may need to be kept after a deletion request. Where that applies we tell you which records and why.

Privacy and contact

The Privacy notice sets out what Enstap collects, who processes it, where it is processed and how long it is kept.

Email support@enstap.com.
